BANDO preselezione studenti stranieri a.a 2017-2018/ Pre-selection foreign students

Pre-selection process for foreign candidates (Non Italian citizens) for academic year 2017/2018 to PhD courses is open.
Deadline to apply is March 10th 2017 no later than 4 pm (CEST). Foreign candidates who want to apply shall fill in the registration form available at the following link:

Some PhD courses may require specific admission conditions duly reported on the web pages of the related courses. Those conditions may also be related to the language requirement to carry out both the selection test and/or educational activities (degree awarded).
At the end of online process, applicants will be requested to attach the following three pdf files (max. 25 MB total size), , written in English:
a. Curriculum Vitae with the mandatory indication of the degree awarded, the date, the list of exams taken with relative rate/score;
b. motivational letter and research project of max 1 page A4 size;
c. list of publications, if any.
Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation written by university professors (see the template of the letter at the following web address):

This letter should be submitted by email to the PhD Coordinator of the selected course by March 10th 2017.
Applicants who will not provide all the documents and the information as above requested will be excluded from the selection.
Also those candidates who will not be graduated by October 31st, 2017 will be excluded.There will also be excluded from the selection . Candidates will be excluded if their academic qualification awarded abroad has not been declared by the as equivalent to an Italian qualification the course’s admission committee as equivalent to an Italian qualification by the Admission Committee or by the Coordinator of the chosen PhD course.
Applicants with a a non Italian degree must submit to the PhD Secretary office the Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di valore) no later than three months following the registration, penalty of exclusion from the selection process.. of
Applicants will be admitted following the positive qualification evaluation. Applicants will be tested via Skype interview or in presence ff possible.

Coordinators or the Admission Committee of the PhD courses.will proceed with the selection process and fill in the list of the of the suitable candidates.
These cndidates will be admitted to the PhD courses if:
a. they hold a scholarship or other grants funded by their own Country. In this case before enrollment procedure it will be mandatory to provide documentation stating the source and amount of funding.
b. they hold a joint supervision agreement with a foreign university in accordance with the guidelinesavailable at the following webpage: http://dottorati.uniroma2.it/index.php/accordi/cotutele
c. they have been awarded a University of Tor Vergata scholarship of thechosen PhD Program
Once enrolled thePhD studentswill have also the opportunity to participate to the Mobility Erasmus+ Programme. prior international agreement.
